Our daughter moved to #5 on the WL for 6th grade at CMIT South earlier this week after starting at #53. Definitely didn't expect that much movement in such a short time. Also moved to #133 on the WL for CPA after starting at #181. We're currently searching for a home and didn't think we had a good shot in the lottery after being WL so we were targeting neighborhoods with better school options but now I'm thinking we may have a shot at least at CMIT South. What do you think? Should we wait a few more weeks to see if she gets in after the second round of acceptances are proceesed to see if there is anymore movement?

When people on the waitlist are notified a spot opened up. How long do they get to decide to accept? For example my son is on two high school waitlist and has a preference for one. Also, I don't see WL number on scriborder site. Is that only visible for charter school?

My child was on the waiting list for the Science and Tech program at Roosevelt, and I emailed the person listed on the letter and she gave me his wait list number.
