Don't feel bad. I know plenty of people who grew up in "Wakefield" without knowing that is where they lived. Unless you pay the real estate tax and see the designation, most people haven't heard of it.

It's the North Potomac of DC Or North Bethesda, never ever say "South Rockville."


I once saw 10th & P referred to as "East Dupont Circle." I told my husband, by their logic Delaware is East Dupont Circle...

We live in wakefield- my husband says if you are selling here, we are in North Cleveland Park. If you are buying here, its Wakefield.
