Yes that area is great. We bought an oceanfront condo for under $500,000 in Melbourne Beach, the town just north of Vero Beach, and it’s been great.

I have friends in Melbourne/Indialantic on the beach and I love visiting them there!

NP Vero Beach is very different and much better than that area. I used to live there. It's lovely.

We bought a vacation home in a red area and just don't discuss politics or education when we are there. One on one people are nice- I mean really really nice. They get that us 'city folk' are democrats and are fine with us leaving our money there so it's all good.

Yeah op is not looking for a condo in Florida. That is misery.

Why do you say that? I live in Florida - I think that place looks nice. Also a condo means you don't have to deal with a yard or outside maintenance. Being on some water means you can get out in a kayak or paddle board any old time you want, too.
