I think prior to the Xmas break there actually hadn't been any instances of two people in the same classroom who had come into contact both getting COVID at all. I know there were a few places where multiple teachers in a school (but not the same classroom) got COVID within a 14 day period and I have no idea if any of those incidents have ever been traced to/heavily suggested school-based exposure.

Ok but so? My school 2 people got it but it was outside of school. I can't trust the adults at my school with my life. Nor do I know who lives in a high Covid zone as people live outside of DC.

It's never been about the school for me but I work with other adults in my classroom...are THEY following safety protocols outside of school....

I mean, this is literally the info that OP asked for. Do you really not see why it's relevant if COVID infected people were in the school but they DIDN'T pass it on? That's evidence that the precautions work.

There is a certain group of people who confusingly argue that if someone related to the school has COVID but they got it from say, a family gathering, and then were in school and never passed it on, that this is evidence that precautions don't work.

Which is weird, because I draw the opposite conclusion from the same set of facts.

As of two weeks ago, there had been no known cases of 2 or more positives from the same class within a two week period. So, no.

Last I read, DC Health reported that there has been no community spread in schools.
