+1 OP- make sure everyone is update to date on their tetanus shots and they'll be fine. I don't think it's likely they'll lose a leg. |
OMG My boys just finished 3 seasons of Cobra Kai. That has spurned some crazy sh*t between them. Strike first. Strike Hard. No Mercy. (and watch your back in my house).
As Johnny would say: 'don't be a p*ssy, OP'. |
Johnny was exactly like my youth travel soccer coach. And I am female . God- I miss the 80s!
|
Wow, that's really sexist and gross. |
I suggest you not watch Cobra Kai then . It's very funny. And he is made to be politically incorrect on the show and takes heat for it. His cluelessness about how it's not 1985 anymore and it's not okay to say this stuff is part of the charm of the show.
He evolves over time and has a big heart. |
That is exactly what I was thinking when I read this. |
| Futsal on tennis courts is breaking peoples brains. |
HA!!! |
yes, like cancels hundreds of kids futsal because it is "unsafe". thanks OP |
| you just wish you had Rodney Dangerfield as your DD's coach |
Ha! She and I tried watching that movie recently, but could not make it through. It is not a film that has aged well. Though we joked about sending my son to play on a girl's team - for some reason, people often confuse him with a girl, though his hair is not that long. |

The surface is too hard. Not a good idea.
It is less about fences and more about concrete (vs. grass vs. wood). |
What surface are the courts? Asphalt or concrete? And futsal would never be played on grass. As it is, it seems lousy that they are putting the rec players on turf for futsal. |
+1 |
| I’ve noticed the tennis court nets are starting to sag and get ripped on these courts repurposed for futsal. Maybe it’s a good thing the kids slam themselves and the balls into those - it keeps them safe? I assume the soccer league replaces these nets with new ones at the end of the season. |
