Times have changed.

Used to be that you would do anything to get a VA or MD address to avoid the DC public schools. Living on Capitol Hill meant VA or for some PG county. If you couldn't afford even partial pay at a private school, people got desperate.

Wilson was for white people and everything else had multiple issues. You lived in DC because you could afford it and get to your job but the schools were to be avoided if you wanted an education.

Has UDC become desirable too? I see it's calling itself HBCU but when I went to Howard, UDC didn't rate.
