VHSL Fall Sports Decision - Feb start still a go?

Are they going to allow spectators for the outside sports? My boys would love to go watch a HS football game, it would be a cheap winter outing...

I doubt there will be spectators, none were allowed for outdoor track.

That stinks. It's outside! Have we all lost our minds?

Basketball and wrestling are as high risk as it gets. It is frankly insane they were allowed to play. But since that decision was made there would be 0 reason to ban anyone else.

I agree with this, and my kids are playing basketball. I was surprised they approved it, too, but the low risk was worth it to us. No kids on their teams have been sick. There is no way to justify cancelling anything else after they had (masked) basketball and (unmasked) wrestling. I mean, come on.

Well basketball generates revenue unlike soccer.

My DD’s soccer games are packed. At least when we’re home team. Maybe it has to do with level of team and quality of coaching?

In Virginia we have a 25 spectator limit right now. Are you talking about in non covid times?

Not when they don’t let any paying spectators in!

Ha. We’ve gone from one covid extreme to another. Americans are so stupid. Common sense is dead.
