Concurrent learning is stupid

I have APS middle schoolers. They have relationships with many of their teachers this year. Some of them surprisingly strong. I am glad they don’t have to leave their teacher just cause we chose DL. This is not ideal, but prefer it to abruptly changing teachers. It’s been rough enough. These teachers are amazing and are a wonderful presence in my kids’ life through this madness.

If you care, then don't do anything outside of school and it won't be an issue.

I don’t! But my kids will have to go to aftercare so yeah, there’s a scenario where they could get exposed there and quarantine but their class wouldn’t. Jeez. Don’t be such an a-hole.

Would this impact the way the teacher would normally teach a class? In other words, could you teach as you would normally, and those at home are basically just watching from their computer?

The teacher will teach us they normally have done on DL. There won't be as much of them moving around and using different parts of the classroom because of mitigation strategies and the fact that the kids at home need to observe the instruction as well.
