You got me. I graduated in the 80s. |
DP but I’m guessing that they were joking. (because PP is definitely correct.) |
This same PP flamed something I said a few days ago as being “word salad” and that I must be a Capitol-storming deplorable, but she or he didn’t take into account that I’m black lol. |
| Maybe Washington University in St. Louis? |
| My kid was sick of the extreme left politics of her private HS. It was over the top. She is at an Ivy now and said she is relieved as it is generally more moderate than her HS. Seems to have a bit more diversity of thought and the extreme faction are not 100% in control of the dialogue |

| What about some of the SEC schools like Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, etc. More focus on sports and professional degrees, less time for wokeness. |
OP. Thanks for trying to type cast me. No, not interested in Liberty which is also political. DC is sick of all politics and would like a college experience of the type I had as a 18 year old. |
| Yes— definitely better to find a school that revolves around football and drinking so you don’t have to think about “politics” |
Went to Smith. Friends and I agree we wouldn't send our kids there today. |
Well, it would be nice if they could study hard and learn in a friendly, non-angry environment. |
I think this quote is exactly why some would like to go to a normal, unpolitical school. |
+1 The gross overreaction is pretty amusing. |
Or a school that, you know, actually teaches academics rather than holding the entire student body hostage to the demands of a militant student group. #brynnmawr #haverford |
+100 Talk about a case in point! |
