Lottery Results next Wed!

Wouldn't it be great if charters had centralized, computerized lottery instead of pulling names from a box on random days in April? Come to think of it, since charters don't have boundaries, it would kind of make sense to do citywide lottery. Or maybe we could do two rounds of lotteries like Boston. That might help DC since we have both school choice and high turnover population. (just killing time until noon.) In general I'm glad Rhee and especially her staff have tried so hard to bring order to the chaos. I've heard stories of people waiting in lines to apply in the past.

I doubt it will happen.

I just hope the site does not crash when we all try to sign in at noon on the dot! Anyway, best of luck to everyone, for the DCPS lottery and for charter lotteries as well!
