Claudia

Party of Five had Claudia Salinger too.

Claudia is a great name - it's like Veronica. It's known, but not used often.

+1. This is me too. Claudia in the BSC was cool and artsy. I like the 80s vibes!

+2 I've also been interviewing for a job and my HR contact is named Claudia. She is 24 and grew up in Boston, so, not entirely stuck in the 80's, but also not overly common.

I love it! It’s not trendy and a lovely old name.

I love it.

The bolded part will be great for her.

+2 This is always my first thought when I hear the name! Love it - you should go for it.

It’s feminine, and great for a kid and an adult.

It’s familiar, yet it was never trendy/over-used.

Lovely name.

I love this name we would have considered it except our last name starts with Gl

+3 Love it. Would have considered it if we'd had a girl. My husband suggested Claudius for a boy but no...not a good cultural reference at all

I wish I had named DD Claudia, pronounced Cloud-ee-ya, since DH is Latino. I spent a summer in the south of France when I was in college and met a lovely Mexican American college student who was studying there.

In her mom's language, it's pronounced "Cloud-eeya" and that's how she pronounces it here. She just said "it's pronounced like the clouds in the sky" and everyone "got it" permanently as soon as she said that.

Just FYI, it's a SUPER popular name in many places in Latin America for our (e.g. 35 - 55 year olds).
In Germany and Spanish, and prob other places, pron. Cloud-ee-ya.
