DH has two cans of beer 5 night per week! At my wits end!

That has nothing to do with your husband drinking. When I hit a taste of alcohol in my teens, yes, I wanted to drink...with my friends. If you have teens stealing from you and hiding beer cans in the basement...presumably drinking at home alone!!!....then you have WAY bigger problems and it has nothing to do with your husband having a couple of beers a night.

Your husband doesn't have a drinking problem if he's not doing it every night. And two beers isn't that much. I rarely drink and my mom is an alcoholic, but this wouldn't bother me. I think there are other issues that are the bigger problem.
