Can DeJoy be impeached?

He needs to be fired on January 20. For cause. He's a criminal too.

Crappier service and higher prices coming up. Get this guy the hell out of there.

“Postmaster General Louis DeJoy is preparing to put all first-class mail onto a single delivery track, according to two people briefed on his strategic plan for the U.S. Postal Service, a move that would mean slower and more costly delivery for both consumers and commercial mailers.”

But can DeJoy be impeached? The damage of his actions is ongoing, and he has a clear conflict of interest.
now that McConnell is out as majority leader, Biden’s nominees can get a vote.

But there are no empty seats on the Board right now.

There are four empty seats and one that expires on Dec. 8 2021. Biden needs to make filling these a priority.

I bought a phone from Verizon today, and the salesman told me they stopped using the Post Office for any deliveries.

My Christmas cards are still arriving. I got a text from a friend in California that she just got hers. Mailed mid-December.

Yes, get rid of DeJoy NOW!!!!! Biden must fill the empty seats as soon as the trial of the orange bulge is over.

Biden needs to do with DeJoy what he's done with the yahoos Trump appointed at the last minute at VOA, DoD, etc. Fire him. Let him bring a suit if he wants and deal with it then. But in the meantime, get him the hell out.

Maybe not impeached, but tried for perjury, sure.

I seem to remember Lindsey Graham and a dozen other Republicans yammering on for weeks that an official can be impeached for perjury.

He lied under oath; how is he not fireable when he’s commit perjury?!

I think Biden can probably fire the entire board for cause. They approved DeJoy, who clearly had financial conflicts of interest. It’s unclear exactly if Biden can fire DeJoy, but a new board will remove him.

The Democrats need to move more quickly on this stuff. It’s ridiculous that Garland’s hearing isn’t until March.

I hope he fires them.

Garland’s hearing is Monday, so not quite March. But yeah.
