9 year old girl birthday - gift idea? She can't think of a thing she would like!

I took my daughter to make necklaces at a bead store (it ended up being about 2.5 hours and about $80). She could make you one and you could make her one, each make your own or she can make herelf one and you can make her a special one too. It was fun. my DD still liked american girl so we did the necklaces and got her a few accessories for her dolls.

I totally agree, something mom and me to do with her. I don't ever remember doing anything alone with my mom especially for me. But it would be nice to have a special memory like that. Even maybe a day at a museum she loves with lunch and shopping afterward. you know your daughter best, what would she like to do with Mom or with Dad, but just one of you at a time.

I swear that I'm not selling these things. And I also want to stress that some time off to be with your daughter is far more valuable. But..this was a huge hit with my 11 year old daughter.
