I had to buy a couple sizes because obviously you get smaller, but I HATED the feeling of my belly jiggling and this kept everything tight and feeling secure. I also truly believe it helped my ab muscles get back together. Note: it did NOT help me lose weight, I was one of those who kept 20 lbs on me until the day I stopped breastfeeding. But then the weight dropped and I could confirm what I had felt: my stomach muscles were totally back to normal.

I used a belly wrap/body shaper thing after all 3 of my pregnancies. So helpful in supporting core muscles that have weakened and moved during pregnancy. I really didn’t like that empty/jiggly feeling like my internal organs were just swimming around my body and the shaper was key for me!

Agreed, though, that this is not about losing weight or looking good,, just a personal preference when it comes to comfort. I used a thick stretchy shaper that attaches and a adjusts with velcro

Which one do you all like?

I used the belly bandit, which I liked. I also got one off of amazon (can’t remember the brand) that had a lot of good reviews and ended up working well, also.

I’m a FTM due on 1/20 but I’ve already purchased a belly band from Amazon. It’s a 3 in 1 band made by Chongerfei and it has great reviews on both Amazon and from PTs with YouTube channels. The recommendation is to begin wearing the belt 24 hours after birth (it comes in three pieces and is a tiered use so it’s not hard on your body). Still on the fence about getting a tighter band/one with hooks (faja or corset) to tighten things even more after that but I’m not usually a corset person...

I bought myself a new vibrator.

I’ll use it to fill up the peri bottle so I don’t have to wait two minutes every single time I pee for the faucet water to turn warm. Our water takes forever to warm up in the winter! I’ve had second degree tears with both previous deliveries and the peri bottle is an absolute necessity but I can’t stand cold water squirting on me. I thought about getting a bidet installed, but our toilet is too far from the sink to easily install the temperature control feature to have warm water.

I loved the cold water so ymmv!

Ha! Good for you. Baby is 4 months and my vibrators are gathering dust with the rest of my sex drive.
