This. I would not eat it, and I would ask for a refund or for them to resend. They have insurance for stuff like this.

FedEx has been handling shipment of Covid vaccinations, in addition to glut of shipping this year, plux Xmas shipping on top of all that.

Cut them a break. It's not their fault. At some point they ought to say they can't ship if it cannot arrive safely.

Frozen or cooled food should be overnight, period.

But really, I find it hard to believe anyone in the DMV needs to be shipped food with the local options. Maybe if you're in Kansas or something I can understand needing to ship in something--but in and around an affluent coastal region? Pointless.

I ordered Murray's cheese to be shipped tomorrow and delivered on the 24th. In hindsight, that was probably a very poor decision.

Murray’s did right by me this week! It arrived promptly as promised.

Because the government mishandled the covid response, so far more people are ordering things they’d normally go buy in person. Additionally, some people are following the rules and not traveling, so more gifts are being shipped instead of given in person. Then on top of all that, they intentionally kneecapped the post office, making them slower and less efficient. So basically all the delivery services are overwhelmed, we keep asking them to do more, and the people in charge have taken away some of their resources. I’m honestly surprised it’s going as well as it is, considering the circumstances.
