Boxers, boxer briefs, or briefs?

Briefs give the best support. It would be very uncomfortable to walk around all day without being supported in that area. Similar to a woman feeling more comfortable in a good quality, supportive bra.

Women's underwear don't get as gross as men's. Less buttcrack hair and overall more attention to hygiene

Aren't jockstraps just a sling that holds a hard cup in place for a sport?

Jockstraps for men are comparable to thongs for women. Jockstraps are worn for comfort as well as for athletic wear (ie holding a cup).

Uh, no. Men who wear jock straps for just walking around are extreme outliers. This is not a thing that is done

Guy here. Wear boxers and a tee shirt to bed. Haven’t had pajamas in years.
Daytime, I wear boxers unless doing something active where I don’t want my package moving around - golf, tennis, hiking.
