| The clubs first and foremost need to make money, coordinating and centralizing would impact their profits. If any of them cared about kids and families and development, they would be training and playing year round. ‘Winter’ leagues and activities are just another excuse to charge people more for what should already be paid for under annual fees. Good clubs know this and do indeed train and play throughout the winter. Crappy clubs create new ‘opportunities’ for families to give them money during the year. Beware of clubs who are constantly offering and charging for new programs and activities, it means they are short-shrifting the regular soccer programs and training. |
Most of them do train during the winter. What they don't have is games unless set-up as scrimmages which is also fine. Our coach does do that already. |
U15-17 Boys are playing in DMV Premier League (Invitation onlyl???) and also up in the Maryland Sports Complex (Assuming Logan or the Monty County dummies don't cancel it) |

PAC is still accepting teams for the winter league.

| I'm setting up a 7v7 league in my backyard. Only $650 per team for a couple of games. I will be refereeing. |
If it’s turf filed with standard goals and soccer balls, then I will bring my team there. Oh, I forgot. You have to provide Girl Scout Cookies too as part of the fee. |
Can you guarantee that you’ll cancel the season and only refund $150? If so, I’m in. |
Sorry, thanks!! |
| If we don't get enough teams, we will just mix age groups. so expect U12's to play U15's. it's good for their development, just like how they do it in Brazil. Survival of the fittest. |
