Is this LV handbag terribly out of style?

I love it and would definitely use it.

Love the Alma. I still use my Speedy even though I’m not sure it’s “in style” either.

I think it’s totally fine and fairly classic. They have some prints and styles that are more “trendy” and go in and out of style, but the one you described is a classic.

For some reason I don’t dislike the neverfulls as much, maybe it’s the understanding that it’s such a practical workhorse type bag—which a bowling bag just isn’t—that makes me “forgive” the tackiness of the logo. But if you like it, it’s really a classic shape so it’s definitely not out of style. I guess just not my taste, not that I could afford it anyway.

I don't think the classic monogram LVs are tacky. The rainbow ones, on the other hand...

I agree. OP’s bag is fine, these are horrible!!

I have this Alma and I love it. It’s not an everyday bag but I use it when I’m out with friends or date night (which obv it hasn’t been used in almost a year).

I haven’t seen anyone carry a speedy in years.

Op, you have the Alma bag. I purchased mine in 2011, and I still carry it occasionally. Mine is a darker brown than the one pictured though. Even though it's nearly 10 years old, it's in remarkable condition.

I see them everywhere but they are styled differently. They have the long strap and are carried as crossbody. Or flattened and used at sort of a clutch with handle. No one really does the puffed out barrel bag look anymore but I think the different looks speak to the versatility of the speedy. I'm not an LV stan/ owner btw

Good lord! Is that a sticker on the bottom? A red patch that screams LV?

If we are talking about tacky, don't forget about the fringed speedy. Really, any LV with the white background is a bit "try hard" to me.

I love this for a music festival in the desert! 🏜️

I was cleaning out a closet today and looked at it again. Now, I like the size and the shape is cute. While I don't usually wear things with logos, I'm thinking of using it again. Is it horribly out of style?

It looks like this, but mine does not have the little hanging thing. The trim on mine is darker, too.

Agree with everyone who says it's a classic. It doesn't look too big at all.
