Hybrid. Fifth and first. |
I'm not even convinced we'll be back 5 days a week in the fall, honestly. |
Same. And even if it is offered in the fall I'm not sure we'll take it. Depends on what behaviors I see in the community. When I have more trust that people are doing the right things (masks, social distancing), getting their kids vaccinated and enforcing the rules so to speak then we'll consider it. |
The poster attacked the schools, parents, and open acps. If you are illiterate don’t post. |
I didn't read it that way, which means I agree with "Soooooo." I add this: anything negative about #OpenACPS we agree with x1000. They are a disgrace and the behavior of their "leaders" is contemptible. A bad look all around. |
There you go. It is all my fault that schools are closed. I have single-handedly masterminded this whole pandemic to inconvenience you and to make you realize that you aren't the good parent you thought you are.
If your kid is having mental health problems I think you need to look closer to home. That isn't a school issue. I want schools to be disease free and places where kids and their teachers don't get sick. I take all the blame. |
"I want schools to be disease free and places where kids and their teachers don't get sick."
So, ahhhh, do like the privates are doing, huh? |
Pay attention. Private schools have had outbreaks. Their parent group does a better job at following the rules though because they have a common goal so they are able to mitigate much more effectively. Parents in public are all wild cards because they don't have any common goal.
I think the people pushing for opening public schools right now, when we are reaching new heights in the number of infected people, are dumb and short-sighted. |
Troll, follow the science. Or just stay home with your kids and shut up so others can live life. |
You sound like you are part of a wonderful family. Good for you and for your kids for taking advantage of this time to get closer to parents and loved ones at home. |
I agree. I have taught at both private and public schools. Those who think public schools can copy what private schools don’t truly understand how different the cultures, standards, funding, and administrations are. |
