Lululemon gift card

P.S. I don't know who needs to hear this, but please stop buying low-amount gift cards to expensive stores. You're either forcing the recipient to spend extra money for their own "gift" or guaranteeing the card won't ever be used.

Um, no. Not for serious yogis. I think I saw literally one person in my yoga studio using a LL mat...the best mats are Manduku or Jade Yoga. LL mats are for people who like brands on display or don't do much yoga.

If you actually practiced yoga then you would know that yoga teaches non judgement. Including judging someone for their yoga mat selection.

I have been doing yoga for over 20 years and know plenty of yogis who use LL mats. Sorry but using a jade mat doesn’t make you any more “ serious” than anyone else. Btw I use a cheapie Gaiam from Marshall’s.

Op to answer your question, I like lululemon yoga tops with built in bras. You can find some with decent support for yoga but I wouldn’t use them for higher impact activities like jogging. They also make some nice running shorts that are lightweight, comfortable and flattering.

I received a $150 gift card to Lululemon. Can anyone vouch for their socks? Especially wool socks, or cold weather socks?

I may go for a hoodie or jacket in addition.

But a lady needs some socks!

I run and love their fast and free tights. They are thick enough for winter and have thigh pockets that hold my iPhone and tons of other pockets. The material is smoother and less fragile than the align tights too. I also like their yoga mats.

Jade mats disintegrate pretty quickly. Manduka is good, but their professional mats are way to heavy to lug around and get pretty slippery without a towel. I only use my Manduka at home. LLL is the gold standard for hot yoga. Other brands (including Manduka, tbh) have started producing mats with the same material and absorbent qualities that made LLL mats famous.

Disagree. I have 10 year old yoga pants from LLL that are still going strong.

And have you been living under a rock since then? LLL was notorious for declining in quality so much it almost destroyed the company, and blaming clothing that wore out after a few washes on women being too fat. Nothing you buy there today will last 10 years.
