Serious question : you think going January to June with an interim and this school board is preferable ? (I don’t fault the guy for leaving I just don’t think people should be so quick to thinking his absence will be better for anyone in the district)

PP here. I honestly don’t think it will make any difference. He was ineffective and the interim replacement will be too. Time will tell if the permanent replacement will be any better. I kinda doubt it.

My turd would be better than equity Eric

I agree but the scary part is he was graduated from W&M and Harvard. What does that say about the US Education system?

That it's a thankless job and that the best superintendent in the nation likely wouldn't survive more than a few years in a place like Loudoun. Overworked, underappreciated, and way too much public scrutiny.

It may be a reflection of the fact that large county-wide school systems are inherently bad models. A guy like Brabrand may have been a hero in a small city (Lynchburg) but has shown a complete inability to manage a system as large as FCPS. Of course LCPS isn't as big as FCPS but it's certainly big now.
