VDOT spending $1.7 million in Clifton Bypass study

That goes nowhere in either direction before it hits a major road. The bypass has already been built. There are two called Fairfax County Parkway and Route 28.

VDOT should spend that money studying an extension of the Yellow line down to Mt. Vernon and Hybla Valley.

There about 10,000 other projects VDOT should study before a so-called Clifton bypass.

I think a wall around Clifton would make a lot more sense than a bypass. Wall them up, and keep them there.

We don't have the population density to support the two stations WMATA would want to build. WMATA still can't figure out how a station in Potomac Yards would be useful.
