What are your 12-year-old boys reading?

My 12 year old is reading The Book of Dust.

He also likes Alex Rider books and Sherlock Holmes. He’s also into Manga, but gets these from the library so I’m not sure what he reads.

Recently he read The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind, which made him cry.

Wings of Fire, Diary of a Wimpy Kid (he's been re-reading those for years, they crack him up), Last Kids on Earth, Eragon, I got him Hunger Games for Christmas but don't tell him.

+1 on Alex Rider series.

Also, my child is a huge Percy Jackson fan and was very eager to ready everything else written by Rick Riordan as well as everything recommended by him (https://rickriordan.com/resource_type/ricks-reading-recommendations/)
