It's the accent. The receding hairline and 'hugh grant' type thing would not be as sexy without that Scottish accent. But--yeah--with it--pretty amazing !

He's Welsh, not Scottish.

Brad Pitt and Angelina swore off marriage until gays could get married. They probably thought that would never happen, and it was a way to be virtuous while commitment-phobic. Now, their divorce in its 4th year in the courts... so maybe they should have followed their instinct not to marry.

Great video. They always seem to have a lot of humor with each other. It's hard to believe that's his real voice/accent!

Isn’t Keri Russell still married to the carpenter dude? Like separated but still legally wed.

Interesting that people are googly-eyed over Matthew Rhys, when technically he's the AP. Where's your judgment now, ladies? Isn't he a ho and a homewrecker, ruining the childrens' lives and sending Keri's ex-husband into a crippling spiral of depression and misery?

Or is it okay, because he's a star?

I do not find him hot. Maybe it's the baldness. Maybe it's the facial hair. Dunno.

Maybe I'm also still angry at her for chopping off her hair in Felicity.

I think you mean "a way to virtue-signal while commitment-phobic." (it's not virtuous to virtue-signal)

Seriously. But I think it's okay because he's a man. Not that I think people's marriages are any of our business unless they make it our business. And so many celebrities *do* make it our business. But these two are so private it's not even worth shaming. Maybe she cheated. Maybe he sucks. Maybe they were separated for a while. Maybe it was a bad situation. We won't know and that's good.

How do you know they're not married? Just because there's no ring or announcement in the NYTimes doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Why are you invested? I think given how un-fame seeking these folks are, you're kinda creeping me out.

um, yes. she was married and they had an affair while filming The Americans.

Did she tell you this?

NP. It's quite common knowledge.

Oh okay.

I did look it up - it claims she was separated, though not legally divorced.

I guess it is a grey area, but it is suspect

Yes they’ve apparently been together since before her divorce was announced but that doesn’t mean they were having an affair lol. She has always been really private about her personal life but if you look at photos from the end of 2012/beginning of 2013 (when The Americans started shooting) you’ll see that she’s no longer wearing her wedding ring. Idk about the details of their separation but they all seem to be fine and remain friends.

It's a common problem on DCUM, apparently - thinking that Welsh things are Scottish. It came up in that "what would you change your name to" thread last week.
