25th Amendment

Because they’re the same chickensh*t cowards they’ve always been. Trump’s supporters are all fired up and ready to go. How do you think it would go over with the rabid wingnuts if Republican Senator X tells his constituents that their hero is batsh*t crazy. They don’t want to be on the receiving end of that.

He needs a giant hook to drag him offstage.

Any person who disagrees after his statement just now is also a traitor to our country as far as I’m concerned. Republican lawmakers need to shut this down.

Seriously, how great is it going to be when boot foot gets removed from office based on the 25th amendment? Dementia is a legitimate cause yes?

“We’ve got to defeat George... uh George”

The number of death threats in GA, from the Secretary of State and his wife to election officials is only ensuring a run off loss. His base is so stupid! Go ahead and sit out your votes. Lol idiots!

I believe this is the final straw for GA citizens. Flippers gonna flip. As much as he should have been 25th the hell out, losing the GA seats is even better. Next up, SDNY! Get him off our lawn and bring him and his cronies back to the concrete jungle for judgement day. We hated him then and now.

Well, not SDNY (Federal). State will probably have to do.

Okay, the Trump campaign now has a 1-59 record in lawsuits including a comprehensive one by the SCOTUS. 86 judges including at least a couple of dozen Trump appointed judges have universally ruled against him, often in absolute and scathing opinions. The states have certified their results. The electoral college has voted. The votes are being sent to Congress for approval on January 6.

And throughout this, Trump has gone from starting to accept his loss...to being convinced he won and that he can still overturn the results in Congress on January 6???

https://news.yahoo.com/trump-reportedly-convinced-actually-won-051947795.html

President Trump was privately coming to terms with his loss to President-elect Joe Biden, but he "has now reversed and dug in deeper — not only spreading misinformation about the election, but ingesting it himself," CNN reports, "egged on by advisers like Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis who are misleading Trump about the extent of voting irregularities and the prospects of a reversal." One adviser told CNN, "He's been fed so much misinformation that I think he actually thinks this thing was stolen from him."

Even the Electoral College formalizing Biden's win "did not appear enough to shake Trump from his delusions of victory," CNN says, "but it is adding urgency to a push by several of his advisers to gently steer Trump toward reality." Discussions of Trump's post-presidency future tend to go nowhere because Trump "all but shuts down," CNN reports. "In his moments of deepest denial, Trump has told some advisers that he will refuse to leave the White House on Inauguration Day, only to be walked down from that ledge. The possibility has alarmed some aides, but few believe Trump will actually follow through."

So, we have a man who clearly has lost his connection to reality who is in the office of the President. He is obviously stripping the government of many needed public officials and replacing them with loyalists who have little experience in the offices that they are being appointed to. Is it safe to leave such a person in the position of holding his finger over the button?

I had thought it was not yet at that point, but seeing that even with the news that has been coming in that he is becoming more convinced and more entrenched in his alternate reality and still encouraging his followers in this web of disinformation, I think he is a danger to the country. I think that Mike Pence and the Cabinet or the Congress needs to step up and take measures to ensure that he does not destroy the country. I had thought that we could wait out the 34 days, but it is looking more and more likely that he will do something completely unhinged and dangerous in the remaining 5 weeks.

Remember that Trump is a malignant narcissist. His mind is unable to process negative information. Everything he has said and done has been predicted by those that know him. (His former lawyer and niece.)

Republicans need to understand that Trump is not well. He does not think like a normal person. He is driven by a superhuman need for gratification even in the press ends of negative factual information.

What do they think he’s going to do in his final days?

What else is he capable of doing before Jan 20th?

Please let this nightmare be over!

They know.

They just don’t care. Literally, they’re in office to make money for themselves and the 1%. That’s it. The GOP has abandoned governance.
