Did anyone really want love and never got it?

Me too. No one I was interested in or in love with ever wanted me, even though I was smart, beautiful, kind and cool. I was a loving girlfriend and friend and I tried to bring fun and happiness to the relationships. And, I was always game for good sex. I was also a confident, well-adjusted person. But, I always ended up getting dumped, used, and/or rejected, and still don’t know why. They all ended up with women who are much less attractive. Biggest headscratcher of my life. I think that luck and who you meet or don’t meet along the way has more to do with it than anyone cares to admit.
