| I am so sorry OP. My best friend died in a very unexpected, sudden way 10 months ago. It hit me harder than many family deaths. Take your time in grief. My brain was pure fog for over a month. |

NP here but upon returning to work after my sister's funeral (suicide), a coworker cornered me in the bathroom and asked me how she died. I'll never forget the gut punch and thus will never ask that question of anyone else. Sorry, OP. May she RIP. |

Sorry for your loss and your co worker was obviously very wrong to do that to you but that’s an entirely different situation than OP posting anonymously here. |
