Can't get enough teachers to come back. More than groups of 12 are unsafe per "stakeholders" (teachers)? What better plan can there be?

so no one got a call about a cares seat? and no announcement was made by dcps that it was delayed?

I saw our principal Friday and when I asked they said DCPS would be contacting families about CARE slots directly but no idea when and that the individual schools don’t really know what’s going on.

Given how mad HS principals are at their staff being poached and tweeting publicly about it, I’m guessing the chancellor had to back down. Also, I doubt they got many volunteers from government agencies to support the cares classrooms. It was a stupid idea not to hire people to staff them.

I thought CARES slots were to be offered starting Monday.

Checked the reopen strong website and the timeline says 10/30. Is something big going to break?
