Only as safe as the diver behind the wheel is. Computers make mistakes all the time. That's why we're not all riding in self driving cars yet. |
| FFS, the mass of this car still requires huge amounts of energy, and around here that will be from coal power plants. |
Uh, NOPE! You can choose to buy your electricity from providers who use 100% wind, solar, hydroelectric or geothermal sources. Depending on where you choose to buy your electricity, this vehicle has absolutely zero carbon footprint. Admit it - you just hate it because you think people shouldn’t be driving them no matter how clean they are. Because you just don’t like them. Have the honesty to just say so. |
So Tesla’s are actually coal-powered? Is that what you’re saying? |
ok GM shill |
| I thought the whole point of a Hummer was to prove to liberals that you don’t care about the environment. This defeats that purpose, no? |
|
That's awesome.
You can't stop tasteless people from wanting one of the gaudiest and ugliest cars ever made, but at least you can force them to go green while showing everyone they made it out of the trailer park. |
I'm a liberal and I owned a Hummer. |
It’s kinda funny that all the people who said they hated Hummers originally because they used too much gas and polluted too much are now scrambling to invent new reasons to hate them now. And it puts them in a tough spot, because they can’t criticize it without also opening up Teslas -their personal Holy Grail status symbol of cars - to the same criticism. Ultimately it will likely come down to “it’s just a vain, expensive status symbol” . And a Model S isn’t? Hahahahahahahaha! |
So, bitter-hater, party of one? |
| Electric Escalade is next. |
Sexy AF |
If you are in one of the 18 states that still use coal, and even each of those doesn't rely solely on coal. |
You clearly have no idea how the three national power grids work. Hint: it’s not state-by-state.... except for Texas |
| Hard pass. It *might* be more environmentally friendly but is still dumb. |
