Nausea leaving me feeling hopeless

Anonymous
7 weeks 2 days here and loving all of you for this advice. And I feel for you OP, it really sucks. I’m laying in bed right now dreading the dinner time grind.

My doc refuses to prescribe anything unless I’m puking more than once a day. Fortunately I haven’t been getting sick much but the nausea is unrelentless and the unisom isn’t doing much.

Honestly? I’d switch doctors. You’re at the very beginning so it’s no big deal at all. It’s that doctor’s right to only prescribe what they want, but it’s YOUR body and YOUR right to not feel like death all the time. There’s only one study out there that has ever shown any tiny potential problem that could result from zofran, and it was a very small study. Zofran is perfectly fine - don’t feel guilty about pushing for something that will give you relief.

Phenergan. It was the only thing that helped and the risk (minimal) outweighed the danger that puking 6-10 times a day.
