Squirrel Frozen to out Shed

Anonymous
I think most people would care just as much about a human frozen to their shed as a squirrel frozen to their shed.

No they are not. Did you SEE them?

My guess is the ones that care for animals and help them when needed were behaving quite well. The ones that don't care or think it's funny behaved awfully. We know there is a link between cruelty to animals and criminal behavior.

I don't know. It really depends upon who the human is.

I was wondering about the wild animals in all this snow... how many froze to death, and where on earth do deer, raccoons, and other non-burrowing animals go to stay warm?

And the feral cats... so sad. I know many of them must have surely died of exposure.

I am glad the squirrel is free. Thanks for updating.

They go into dens under low hanging evergreen branches that are covered with snow -- makes a kind of snow cave.

I can think of a few I'd swat at with a broom...

Ironic people in this area seem to care more (on the whole) about animals than people. Did you SEE the grocery?

The people at the grocery store were acting like crazies on their own accord. The squirrel stuck to my shed probably didn't plan on getting iced by his tail to the dripping water.

What happened at the "grocery"? Curious.

He's a squirrel. He got himself into this. He'll figure it out.
If not, he'll get the Darwin Award. Much like some of the people around here.

It's a squirrel . . . our "suburban rat."

survival of the fittest, I say

And apparently, his gene pool won't get too far.

What on earth happened at the grocery? For the chaos of the parking lot of ours (pre-storm), I have to say everyone was being very nice and considerate of each other.

In the chaotic madness, some shoppers managed to get frozen to the shopping carts in the parking lots! They were out there all night, trying to lick themselves free. Horrible videos on YouTube.
