So I guess he’s beyond toddler age now but my 4yo is all about being a kitchen helper, so I’m trying to encourage it. Things like muffins or pancakes are really easy for him to help with. I have a recipe for fairly healthy pumpkin cookies that he likes, it’s in a cookbook but similar to this:

Not that we don’t get store bought snacks too!

Morning Glory muffins! The whole family loves these, and they're got lots of fruit and nuts in them, so feel pretty healthy. https://bellyfull.net/morning-glory-muffins/

After they each a paper bag that they decorate (like the kind used for school lunches) I put in their popcorn and melted butter, they shake it up and add their preffered flavor. They love sprinkling Parmesan cheese or salt in their bags and closing it to shake it all up. We also have sweet popcorn with sprinkles. Snickerdoodle popcorn (butter and cinnamon sugar) is also a hit.

Try sprinkling Strawberry Quick drink mix on your popcorn. It sounds gross but is actually pretty good.

Smoothies, but then pour extra into popsicle forms and later they have smoothie pops. Bonus- takes them a bit to eat them, giving me a few minutes to do other things

Popcorn is not a good idea for a toddler snack.
The Whirley Pop is a great popcorn maker though!

For an occasional treat, homemade muffins, quick breads or cookies are our favorites.

Mine are the same way. I bought this book and they love to flip through and pick out the recipes to make. It's all kid-friendly:

You know kids under 4 aren’t supposed to have popcorn, right? Choking hazard.
