Surviving verbal abuse growing up and translation to workforce

My anxiety and self esteem was so bad, I never wanted to attend class or get a job for very long. Thankfully, we can afford for me to stay at home with our three kids. I've always wondered what it was about me that made me unable to keep going to class or going to work. It certainly wasn't laziness. It was after much self reflection and therapy that I figured it out.
