
Each time an ad loads, it is an "impression". I get paid based on the number of impressions. However, the rate of pay is determined in part by the "click through rate". So, the more click throughs, the higher the rate. Advertisers track "conversions", which is a purchase generated by someone who arrived via an ad. The conversion rate does not affect my payments, but does factor into whether the advertiser advertises again. So, best case, click on an ad and buy something. Next best, click on an ad. Good enough, use DCUM. |

I am so fashion-backward that when I saw the ad (& clicked through to see the whole menu of jumpsuits), I assumed it was an actual trend and fashionable people do indeed buy & wear $400 jumpsuits from Neiman. I've learned so much in the "Beauty, Fashion & Fitness for Women" forum, but apparently I didn't learn enough. |
