Yep. Anyone who watched RHONY and Bethenny Getting Married/Bethenny Ever After (or whatever) saw that he frequently helped and supported her business. Hell, if all he gets credit for was driving her to Costco appearances and setting up the books and the folding chairs and bring her drinks while she signed books, that's something. And he did way more than that. Don't want to put your money or your earning potential on the line? Don't get married. Or at least work up a really great prenup.

Apparently they reached a financial settlement in 2016 and it’s Bethenny preventing the finalization. She’s still a controlling narcissist.

Why would she not want to finalize the divorce because of custody? They have a custody agreement already?

It is absolutely because of her Catholicism. She does not want to divorce, period. If he has no interest in remarrying, works well enough in their case.

Arnold doesn’t seem to care. If he did at this point he could go to court and he’d get his divorce.

Not to derail this thread, but does Arnold have good relationships with his kids? I cannot remember seeing any recent photos of him with his kids with Maria. Even after grandchild born.

He was there at Katherine's bridal shower and he's made an huge effort to be a great father to not only Maria's kids but also Joseph (his other son). I applaud him for that.

For a long time while Bethenny and Jason were separated B never EVER put Bryn's face on social media. And then just this summer I stared seeing Bryn pop up in videos.

I had assumed they had an agreement Bryn wouldn't be on social media but now that she is I wonder what's changed.

Arnold and Maria make perfect sense to me. A multi decade marriage where all your very large assists are intertwined is a whole different animal. They also separated in their 60s. At that point live separate but avoid a huge expensive divorce. If neither party desires to remarry it works perfectly. Bethenny makes no sense to me. The marriage was super short resulting in one kid. No idea what the hold up is but it’s bizarre.

Bethany is a crazy narcissist, that much I am sure of. Anyone who can’t quit reality shows once they’ve capitalized on the fame has a few screws loose.
