Anyone else notice how weird the sun looked earlier this morning?

Moon phase is waning crescent right now. And a full moon would not rise in the east in the morning, it would set in the west.

s/o I cracked up once hearing a lady call in to a radio show where they had a meteorologist taking questions. She had noticed the moon during the day and wondered if it was a weather thing.

We’ve seen this outside Chicago. It’s smoke. Yesterday morning my husband went out and said he smelled smoke. It’s clear today.

I thought it was the moon! I thought it looked really weird and I don't normally see the moon in that spot in the morning. Well, that explains it.

I’m in Colorado and we’ve had that on and off for the last several weeks. Fires here and also the smoke from the west coast.
