How much weight can you lose without having skin issues?

Anonymous
So you are more concerned about loose skin then the impact carrying around an extra 50+ lbs has on your body? Carrying around all that extra weight is not good for your joints.

TO combat loose skin lose the weight more slowly and lift weights to build muscle under your skin.

? You don't know what my medical issues are

Why the antagonism? If you have medical issues, why not see a doctor?

No need to get so defensive. I'm trying to be helpful.

I didn't think that was antagonistic but I suspected you were trying to get a rise out of me and this response certainly confirmed it. You're not trying to be helpful. You made a recommendation that implied knowledge but was based in none. I know its not particularly useful to engage with trolls on DCUM but they really do annoy me.

What? I'm 100000% not. Where are you getting that from?

If someone has a medical issue, it's not being a troll to suggest they see a doctor.

Have a nice day.

NP. I agree. OP if you have medical issues, I would at least engage a nutritionist. I have lost over 100lbs (127) to be exact, and I have a tone of sagging skin. It started around the 50lbs. You said you had medical issues that made it difficult to loose weight. So how can we advise you if we don’t know your medical issues? But your doctor would.

Perhaps I misread pps intention. And clearly would come off as very defensive to them (and you) if that’s the case. I guess it seemed like it was offering advice to a question I didn’t ask and making a lot of assumptions. I didn’t ask for advice about my medical issues, I didn’t ask for advice on losing weight. I am losing weight slowly and steadily and I’m aware of my condition so I’m confused as to why people would think I needed to do that/that I’m not already doing that. I’m not a person with an issue wondering what to do and how to lose weight. I’m a person fully informed about my condition who has successfully lost almost 20 pounds responsibly this year. Your fourth and fifth sentences answered my question and I thank you for offering that.

I really truly am baffled about why you think anyone has ulterior motives here.
