Or them cheating a few years ago....just sayin

Could be. It was only spring of 2019.

I don't think Madlax has any qualms about breaking kid's hearts - they already have highly ranked teams. They are looking towards fall tourneys - the participation of elite level teams this fall isn't what it has been in the Hoco spring - they would run over most teams.

Of the 60 clubs who plays blax for spring hoco, only about 20 or so are playing this fall.

Yeah, but Madlax is basically the only top division team that isn’t playing.

The stated reason from MadLax for not playing HoCo, which I believe to be true, is that they believe fall is for training and position work. A secondary reason, not said out loud, is that they want to delay cutting down to their actual Capital rosters as long as possible. I seriously doubt that the 2019 cheating incident (or for that matter the 2010 email scandal) has any bearing on fall HoCo participation.

The reason why Madlax is getting hate is because their owner is just there to take money. 35+ player Rosters. They had 10+ Defenders on the DC Dogs last year (only 5-6 play).

The other, and more important reason is that there owner bullies and assaults kids. He assaulted a kid at SJC, was caught with hookers at McLean. He writes nasty email to kids when they leave his team or miss practice. He once emailed the college of a committed player telling them to unenroll him because he left Madlax. Just read the article below.

Oh, I'll bet they'll be playing plenty of Fall tournaments and then the training and position work argument fails.

Tournaments are generally late October early/November and fall HoCo is starting now. It is not an argument, just how they choose to structure their fall program. If you want your son to play fall HoCo there are plenty of great teams to join.

Really? I have no doubt that he sends mean emails, makes a ton of money, and sneaks his B teams into lower age groups. Guilty as charged. But hookers and assault - is there any evidence or is that a bit of MadLax derangement syndrome?

The post prior suggests ML doesn't play games in the fall and now you are backtracking into the October/November games. I call BS and they will be playing games all Fall into winter.

HaHa, should have looked before I posted prior because I went to ML site and they are playing a tournament the first weekend of October. Don't apologize for Cabell. He took as money players as showed up and will be mixing rosters and won't be playing in leagues because it's a pretty good strategy.

Hopefully all in the past - better judgement and discretion comes with age.

Fired from McLean High School for allowing underage drinking by his players.
Fired from St. John's for kicking a player.
Fired from Potomac for threatening an 8th grade Potomac student for switching clubs.
Sent the following email to an 8th grade Landon student for switching clubs: "Hey ungrateful quitter....Your former teammates and coaches, who detest you now, can't wait to get a piece of you Saturday when we play vlc."
Creates an IG story bullying 8th grader that switched clubs
