Work out every day.
Never wash hair. No shampoo, ever. Just a good rinse in every shower. |
| Absolutely wash my hair daily/after workouts. I do intense workouts so get pretty sweaty, and my hair is blonde so it really shows when it’s greasy. |
|
I co-wash, use conditioner instead of shampoo. I try to shampoo just 1-2x/week.
Also wavy/curly hair. |
I sweat a lot, so yes, I wash my hair every day. I don't have curly hair, though, and I've never tried dry shampoo. I would have honest people doing smell checks to make sure it works, though. Smelly people in the office are the worst

| I also workout daily, sweat a lot, and wash my hair daily. It is long and wavy and there is no getting around needing to wash it a lot. |
Curly, thick hair chiming in - I shampoo and condition every 3 days. In between, I just rinse really well with water. |
|
Straight, medium thickness colored hair.
Shampoo 6-7x a week due to really sweaty hair |
| Yes and yes. You can always just rinse it. |
|
Yes I work out every day, yes my head really does get really sweaty.
I rinse hair everyday. I shampoo and condition 2x/week. On the other days, I rinse well, use conditioner to massage my scalp and work thru my hair, then rinse again. My hair smells like conditioner and hair product no matter what day it is. -- curly dyed hair |
| I work out every day and get sweaty, so I wash and condition every day. I do not Heat style more than once a week though, and I don't color my hair so it is pretty healthy. I have tried skipping the shampoo on non-run days and don't like how my hair feels. |
|
Fine, shoulder length, straight highlighted hair. I work out 4-5 times a week but don’t sweat enough to merit a daily shampoo.
I do a dry shampoo and blow dry the next day. My workouts are walking on a treadmill and weight training at home, yoga and running. Post run, I’d wash my hair. |
| Everyday for both. I sweat a lot though and have fine hair so it's soaked through by the end of a workout. (In summer, that's like a dripping wet ponytail.) |
|
+1 for cowashing every day and using shampoo only occasionally
|
| I have curly, highlighted hair. I work out most days and always shampoo and condition on days I work out. If I skip a workout day, I don’t wash it. |
|
I have curly hair that’s on the dry side.
I wash my hair with shampoo once a week. When I work out or get sweaty or go swimming on the non-shampoo days, I simply wash my hair with water and conditioner. That’s enough to refresh my hair and reset the curl Without drying it out. Dry shampoo and other similar products just made my hair feel greasy and frizzy. |
