What is wrong with kids today? So entitled. I was broke in college and had so many meals that were just bread and peanut butter or a can of soup. Didn’t the kids bring any snacks with them? Can’t they order one meal a day on door dash on their own dime? At least NYU is trying to manage the quarantine. Columbia and Cornell bailed on it. 95% of NYU students are not penniless. NYU should just shut down and send them all home like Columbia and Princeton decided to do

Reddit and Tik Tok gone viral. Vegans struggling. One kid described waiting until 2pm for a meal and received a lemon, as in, one whole lemon. I think the chicken/watermelon salad has its own page somewhere.

I am perplexed that parents who paid that much in tuition didn't think to buy bread, peanut butter, canned soup and a hot pot for the dorm room. As well as buy some ramen. And some fruit. At least enough for a week or two.

Bingo. NYU food service has a crappy reputation for a reason. Why would quarantine food be better -- in fact it will be worse since you choose the least work option.
