Infertility Support and Discussion
|
I had three MCs due to chromosonal problems (2 tested, first one assumed). I was 36-38. I did a year of acupuncture, which regulated my cycles and improved blood flow to my ovaries. Finally, we decided to do an IVF cycle and do pre-implantation genetic screening. Only 50 percent of my eggs made it to the embryo stage and half of those had genetic problems. We implanted two of the "good" ones and I now have a six-week old son who is perfect. We also have two frozen "good" embryos for a second try later this year. IVF is not easy, but for us it was better than rolling the roullette wheel again and dealing with the trauma of yet another MC. We went with shady grove and were very happy.
Good luck to you! |
