Live in Fairfax County and received an application to be returned to Fairfax City.

While this may have been well intended, it certainly does not support the idea that mail in voting is safe.

Center For Voter Information shows up as CVI on tax returns for VPC, Voter Participation Center. The IRS makes available to the public tax returns for non -profits. The EIN numbers to search for are EIN: 55-0889748 and EIN: 03-0554750 . Page Gardner is listed at both entities- receives $11,146 from VPC a similar but unrelated organization on the CVI return. Bulk of Gardner's income is on VPC and is greater than 200k.

VPC is the organization that mailed voter registration forms to beings with names including Rosie the Labrador retriever. https://news.yahoo.com/dogs-dead-people-election-docs-nonprofit-074600956.html

The form I received does not match the downloadable official form. Not the same on the front nor the back. Follow the tax returns and check who these organizations contribute - even the tax return states contributions amounts against candidates . This is a Democratic Party related endeavor.

Worse yet it is using up staff time that should be devoted to getting out the mail in ballots requested by legit mail ins and online. IMHO these ballot requests should all be trashed upon receipt.

Yes, if you check the names of the players in those orgs, they are Dems.

Been quite a discussion of this on my nextdoor feed. One person said she received five--including one for her dead grandmother and former residents of the house. Others responded that it was not a problem--all she needed to do was to discard them. They ignore the possibility that some people might not do that.

Also, one woman said it was still in her mailbox waiting to go out to the registrar. I would never put anything in outgoing mail in my mailbox with that kind of personal information (SSN) But, that is a different issue. But, it also shows how easy it could be.
