I’m an almost exclusive outdoor runner. It started out as a safety thing, I just feel safer fully hearing what’s going on around me.

I do my best thinking on my runs. I think about work issues, plan vacations, ponder politics and my own existence, social issues and race relations, oh look a cute bunny, my parents health, etc...

Podcasts. My favorite is WTF with Marc Maron. I also really like Armchair Expert, Her Money, Just Processing and Brene Brown's podcast (I can't remember the name).

Whenever I feel my energy waning on a hard run, I listen to Lincoln Project ads on loop. Then I run harder out of anger directed toward Trump.

I have a Playlist on YouTube for running. It's just a mix of high energy music.

I make mixes a lot. So it's all over the place. Lots of women rockers lately

There are a couple of running podcasts that I like: Ali on the Run, Rambling Runner, Morning Shakeout. There are dozens and dozens of running podcasts out there, but these are a good fit for me ... decent interviewers and guests, easy to listen to in the back of my mind.

I listen to Classic Rock. It keeps me going strong.

I used to listen to nothing while running but have started listening to music in the past year or so - not sure what prompted the change! Weirdly enough, I listen to pretty mellow music that one wouldn't consider very conducive to pumping you up and motivating you while running.

these playlists are the best!

I mainly listen to audiobooks. Sometimes music - whatever I’m in mood for that day. I find production values of most podcasts too low - lots of annoying and inane filler. Plus I’m sick of politics and it seems that’s what most podcasts are about.
