This thread proves the OP's first post. There are people sagging their masks, going nose commando, simply because they do not care. And they can justify this selfishness apparently as actually being good for the community.

And yes, this crosses political parties.

Speaking of parties, the backyard party noise in my 'liberal' DC neighborhood is pretty regular now. Am I supposed to believe they will stop partying once Biden is elected?

The vaccines will be here before any conceivable herd immunity. It would take a year or more for herd immunity (at a 60% level) to develop.

While it is true that science denying, government hating Trumpster conservatives are responsible for 150,000 Covid 19 deaths and countless lives that are forever disabled from the coronavirus, I have learned from living in Columbia Heights during the pandemic is that anti-masking spans all races, ages, genders and income levels. I am infuriated to see so many people walking around the neighborhood not wearing masks. Even around the busy parts near 14 and Irving.

Residents of my building have generally done a very good job making sure they wear masks while on the property, there's always a pair of guys and one woman who refuse to wear masks when on the property.

Same in my neighborhood in NE. No stereotype has a monopoly on mask stupidity.

No one would have died if Clinton were president?

Maybe she would have known Cuomo was sending covid patients into nursing homes to kill off the elderly

Maybe deblasio and Pelosi wouldn’t have encouraged people to go out and party

Maybe the mayor of New Orleans would have cancelled events

Maybe the virus would know not to infect any residents of the USA or else Hilary would be very, very upset.
