We used SACC during the school year and I think our team of SACC teachers could probably make it work.
For people reading this who will inevitably respond: well, if SACC is open school should open! No. SACC is not school, it’s not run by the schools and it’s not staffed the same way. It’s just daycare for working families, but subsidized based on income. I wonder if they will be able to use empty classrooms to expand...
I don’t think we would use it, but I know there are lots of people that would and should if the alternative is not supervising their kids while they go to work.
I would absolutely use this. It would be much more affordable than, for instance, the St. James which is insanely expensive!! People are going to have to do this all year - I don't know who can shell out that kind of money.
