Cursive

cursive isn't stressed anymore.

That says, there's good research on some of the benefits of cursive (or of any other script that is faster than print) - kids need to learn to think the thought and have it come out of their hand. It isn't good for the quality of though and expression if it is the hand that slows the process down.

If you look at the adults you know, many of us don't use cursive, but we don't print like we were taught.
