I wonder why you're paying any attention to these people. If you want to look at trends, look at Traditional Home, House Beautiful, Architectural Digest or similar. Not that you have to follow them! I never do! |

| But you have to admit that it has panache. I’m sick of everything being uniform and the same. Have a style of your own! My house has a very unique style and I realize it’s not everyone’s taste. But it’s lovely to visit and I get a lot of compliments. |

Panache pp here. I don't disagree. The trend is moving to kitchen looking more like built in furniture than cabinets. A lot have no upper cabinets. I think the before pictures were a little bland, but not terrible. |

| I don't mind it but I'm not into the Italian country look and I especially don't like all the open shelving that I'm seeing increase in popularity. Horrible for storage. |
