Playgrounds in DC if Only/Minimal Kids Playing

Yes. Let your children live their lives. Their physical and mental health will be better for it.

To the posters complaining that it's selfish - it's not. You are entitled to go do the same - whether or not you choose to is on you.

I don’t think gatherings of 250+ are safe right now and those are going to be allowed soon too. The guidelines aren’t really based on what’s safe and what’s not, they’re based on how they think they can keep the number or cases surpassing the number of ICU beds. That’s all.

Increasing the spread is actually selfish. It increases the risk and danger to everyone else even if they choose to stay home except for essential errands.

No, it’s fine if it’s not busy, good god. This is not a crazy hot spot, almost everyone walking around wears a mask, I am not that concerned. We Bring hand sanitizer and try to not put hands on face/mouth but I don’t think my kids will get covid from an empty playground.
