If you want access to a drapery workroom I can help you out in the DC Metro area. I can generally come in below the G Street Sale prices on fabric and labor. I work with a couple of different workrooms. I've got a great post on my blog today about fabric and paint coordination that may be of interest. Another option for semi custom is The Shade Store throug Robert Allen Fabric. http://www.robertallendesign.com/theshadestore/

I think your business is really cool and I have you bookmarked, but I don't think it is great to advertise your business here. Chef Geoff did this and he got pretty pummeled. |
| PP here. Thanks for the heads up. Certainly don't want to offend and will not further post. Thought is was ok since it was in response to a relevant question. I'll go back to the preschool boards. Seriously, though, thank you. |
I love JCPenney. They are perceived as un-hip and old-ladyish, but IMO they are just as good as anyone else and have much better prices. And you can always find a coupon. |
Ugh, ITDA. I was there today and I don't see how they stay in business- and I occasionally buy furniture from them, I'm no snob. I could see that they might possibly have an option generally, just not an option for what I was in the market for (basic, ivory/cream/off white curtains, maybe grommet, either cotton or similar, 96", etc, nothing complicated). I have no idea where I'm going to find curtains without spending a veritable fortune (and we move frequently, so spending a lot is unappealing). I'm considering making my own because so many of the options at BBB, JCP, etc, are downright hideous. I'm crunching the numbers for PB and making my own. I know I can sew it but the fabric may be cheaper in bulk from PB. |
